Sometimes, during the editing process, pieces of storyline or scenes are removed, because the scene is unnecessary, it slows down the pace of the story, or (as is the case with Desert Confessions) it was only written because I wanted to write it so I could see how the characters would handle the situation I threw at them. In the end, unnecessary scenes simply have to be removed. And so, they end up here, where my faithful readers can find them and spend a little more time in the world of SHIFT.
