The music for RECAST is indicative of the tension and tenuousness of Leah’s experience after the protests.  Leah’s world is expanding, her views changing and growing; change is rarely painless, and some of the songs in this playlist are a reflection of that bend and flex that comes with life-altering change. Something about the vibe of Lakini’s Juice is especially representative of that gritty, world-upside-down, feeling (though the lyrics don’t have anything to do with the story.)
