Sometimes, this crazy author life gets very lonely and it’s easy for me to forget why I started writing stories to begin with (because I can’t stop, that’s why!) and then, sometimes, I’m reminded just how lovely this career of mine can be when I get a note from a reader, or one of my books receives a really great review. I honestly don’t read the reviews for my books frequently (a few times a year, maybe), but when I do I like to update my Smile File with the best ones.
